MAILS SHOULD BE FUN

I have subscribed to a lot of mailing lists but I hardly read those mails.
It's not because I'm a lazy reader, it's because most of those mails are usually very boring.
It is always long and has a lot of unnecessary information.

I know you are trying to sell your product but you can't do that by boring people.
I'm going to be giving you tips on how to bring people back and make them stay glued.

1. Let your posts be EDUCATING.
Each time people read your post, let them learn something new. When people know that they would be gaining new knowledge each time they read your post, they'd definitely come back.

2. Let your posts be FUN.
Add some comic relief. Your aim is to make your potential client feel comfortable. You know the way you stylishly tell your friends things with jokes? Maintain that same energy with your mails. Let your client feel comfortable, let them feel like they are relating with you one-on-one in a fun way. It’s easier to sell to a person that is comfortable with you.

3. Let your posts be INSPIRING.
People are going through a lot, things you know nothing of. So, make it a point of duty to chip in motivational phrases into your mails. Let people read your mail and feel inspired to do something.
It's even possible for you to inspire them in a way that they will have no choice but to buy your product.
If your client's mental health is not okay, they won't be interested in your products. Let your mail be a safe space for them. It's not every time you will be selling products.

Most importantly, make sure your mail is not too long (except you are writing a direct response copy).
These days, people are more interested in straightforward messages than epistles. Don’t bore your potential clients with gist that won’t help them.

With these tips, you would get more subscribers and clients.
